قالت ليزا سيرل منسقة مشروع اطباء بلا حدود خلال تواجدها في مدينة نيالا عاصمة جنوب دارفور انهم وفي سبيل دعم التعليم قد قاموا بعقد اتفاقية مع منظمات محلية للمساعدة في استئناف الدراسة التي تعطلت بسبب الصراع المحتدم في السودان ،وأضافت لينا أن أعظم التحديات التي واجهت المنظمة والمجتمع المحلى لإعادة التلاميذ إلى مدارسهم ،هو عدم وجود وجبة غذائية للتلاميذ.
ومن داخل مدرسة للبنات تواصل لينا حديثها بأنهم قد وقعوا مع عدد من المنظمات المحلية في عدد 12 موقعاََ وأماكن مختلفة للقيام بهذا العمل، وفي هذه المدرسة وقعوا عقداََ مع منظمة بلدنا المحلية للقيام بصنع الوجبات لهؤلاء الاطفال.
لاحظت لينا كمنسقة لبرنامج اطباء بلا حدود أن نسبة الإقبال على الدراسة قد زادت وكذلك زاد زمن البقاء في المدرسة مما يدفعةالعملية التعليمية إلى الامام .
وأكدت أن التقدم الملحوظ في نسبة البقاء داخل المدرسة يعني زيادة نسبة التحصيل ومن ثم المضي قدماََ للوصول إلى الامتحانات المؤهلة لكل مرحلة وهذا يعني مواصلة التعليم وضمان مستقبل مشرق بالنسبة لهم .

Lisa Searle, MSF project coordinator, said during her visit to Nyala, the capital of South Darfur, that in order to support education, they have signed an agreement with local organizations to help resume classes, which were disrupted by the raging conflict in Sudan. Lina added that the greatest challenge facing the organization and the local community in returning students to school was the lack of meals.
From inside a girls’ school, Lina continued, saying that they have signed contracts with several local organizations in 12 different locations to carry out this work.
At this school, they signed a contract with the local organization Baladna to prepare meals for these children.
As MSF program coordinator, Lina noted that enrollment has increased, as has the time spent in school, which is driving the educational process forward. She stressed that the noticeable progress in the school retention rate means an increase in the achievement rate and then moving forward to reach the qualifying exams for each stage, which means continuing education and ensuring a bright future for them.
